Phil Hawn is an actor, performer, and lifelong storyteller whose career has woven through nearly every corner of entertainment. Audiences often recognize him as the earnest Gettysburg Park Ranger on The Office, the Texas senator sparring with Charles Barkley in an NBA on TNT promo, the stage diving maniac in 'Weird Al' Yankovic's It's All About the Pentiums music video, or from his appearances on Veep, Talkshow with Spike Feresten, and Tim & Eric Awesome Show, Great Job! His film appearances include Big Mama's House, Wild Wild West, 61*,Even Steven, Supreme Sanction, and the upcoming Ghost of the Game, along with a wide range of commercial and comedic infomercial work. And in a rare veering away from screen acting, Phil starred in a five-month extended run of the critically acclaimed dramatic play Meet Me at the Oak in the NoHo Arts District.

Phil's path to acting was anything but ordinary. Raised in Missouri in and around his family's TV and radio shop, he grew up surrounded by screens, stories, and the magic of performance. By his teens, he was already a working musician, eventually touring the United States and Canada as a keyboardist, comedian, and sketch performer. Those years on the road sharpened his instincts for timing, audience connection, and character - skills that would later become central to his on camera work.

His fascination with filmmaking and early computer graphics led him to Los Angeles and a second career behind the scenes, creating CG imagery and editing for film and television. But after studying at the Beverly Hills Playhouse and The Groundlings, Phil returned to what had always been his true north: performing.

Today, he brings a rare combination of comedic intuition, technical understanding, and lived experience to every role. Whether he's playing a senator, a postman, a park ranger, or a wonderfully offbeat character, Phil approaches each performance with humor, authenticity, and a deep respect for the craft.
